EYE EXAMS
Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and conditions, as well as routine primary eye care. Our doctors fit all types of contact lenses.
Our doctors can fit all types and styles of contact lenses for children through adults.
Daily, bi-weekly, monthly, long wear and overnight lenses are available. Colored contacts, astigmatism correction or special CRT lenses that correct your vision while you sleep are also available.
If you've been told you are not a good candidate or you've tried wearing contacts in the past, now may be a good time to talk with one of our eye optometrists and see what your options are today. There are many new products available that may alleviate difficulties you had in the past.
We keep a variety of lenses in stock for same day purchase or can order most lenses that are available on the market for you today.

Minimum Eye Exam Frequency
for individuals without symptoms, family history or other at risk* condition
CHILDREN:
Birth to 24 months-at 6 months
2 to 5 years-by 3 years of age
6 to 18 years-before first grade & every 2 yrs. thereafter
ADULTS:
18 to 60 years-every two years
61 and older-annually

for Individuals with symptoms, family history or other at risk condition
CHILDREN:
Birth to 24 mo.-by 6 months or as recommended
2 to 5 years-by 3 years or as recommended

ADULTS:

61 and older-annually or as recommended
*AT RISK group may include:
Children-born premature, or who experienced other difficulties at birth, with family history of ocular conditions or diseases, who have metabolic or genetic disease or high refractive error, strabismus, or anisometropia, or with known or suspected central nervous system dysfunction. In addition, any child who:
Is experiencing learning difficulties, has difficulty or a dislike of reading, is sitting too close to a television, frequently squints, blinks or rubs eyes, has headaches, or is unable to distinguish people or things at a distance
*Adults-With diabetes, hypertension, or family history of ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration), working in occupations that have high visual demands,(e.g. working at computer) or eye hazardous, taking medications that may cause ocular side effects, contact lens wearers, has had eye surgery, any other health concerns or conditions that may effect vision.
